Missions Course

Explore mission, get equipped, and join short-term trips to Japan, Uganda, and Cambodia.

Join us for a Friday night and Saturday course exploring Mission!

You're invited to join us for a two-day Mission Course where we’ll dive deep into the purpose, history, and practice of mission — both locally and globally. Whether you're just beginning to explore mission or have years of experience, this course will equip, inspire, and connect you with others on the journey.

Course Dates:

Friday 13 March, 7:00 – 9:00pm

Saturday 14 March, 9:00am – 3:30pm (lunch included)

Cost: $60

Student Cost: $40

What to expect:

  • What is mission?
  • A look at the history of mission
  • Understanding cross-cultural mission
  • Strategy and intentionality in mission
  • Meet and connect with others involved in mission
  • Explore the 5 Vineyard global commitments to how we do missions:
  • Empowering Local Church-Based Missions (LCBM)
  • Building partnerships as a key strategy
  • Establishing Church Planting Movements
  • Raising up and releasing local leaders
  • Contextualising Vineyard values in each culture

We’re also considering running this course again on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 October 2025 – stay tuned.

Upcoming - Short Term Missions Trips

Take the next step: serve and learn on the field.

Join one of our short-term mission teams in 2025. These trips are a unique opportunity to partner with local leaders, serve communities, and grow in faith and perspective.

Japan

Dates: 4 – 18 April (exact dates to be confirmed)

Leader: Timmy Holah

Focus: Supporting local leaders by helping establish marriage courses and equipping youth leaders.

Cost: Approx. $3000

Uganda

Dates: 20 June – 10 July (exact dates to be confirmed)

Leaders: Jacqui and Rory White

Focus:

  • Discipleship for disabled children, young adults, and their families, including health, therapy, and care
  • Worship encounter training for children, youth, and adults
  • Discipleship and income-generating groups in rural villages around Jinja
  • Cost: Approx. $5000

Cambodia
