Advanced Leadership Community

A Community for Deepening Experienced Leaders

A Community for Deepening Experienced Leaders

The Advanced Leadership Community (ALC) is the third step in our leadership development pathway. Designed for leaders already engaged in ministry, ALC provides the space and tools needed to deepen calling, strengthen leadership, and foster meaningful connection.

Who is ALC For?

Current Vineyard church staff pastors

(e.g. assistant pastors, youth pastors, etc.)

Key ministry leaders in Vineyard churches

(May be volunteers, but must be actively involved in ministry, essential to their church leadership, and have completed training beyond Essentials or be a Vineyard Ministry School alumni.)

What ALC Offers

• High-quality training to sharpen leadership and deepen spiritual formation

• Peer-based learning and connection with others at a similar stage of ministry

• A shared space to explore and embody Vineyard values and charisms, including:

- Inaugurated eschatology and its practical outworking

- Servant leadership and spiritual character formation

- Bicultural leadership understanding and practice in the Aotearoa NZ context

Why We Created ALC

ALC exists to:

• Provide a next step beyond foundational training

• Build a relational community of mid-stage leaders

• Celebrate and contextualise Vineyard charisms in real ministry life

• Identify and invite future pastors and planters into greater leadership

What’s Next: ALC Hui 2026

The first step in launching the Advanced Leadership Community is the ALC Hui — a three-day, live-in gathering happening mid-2026.

This initial Hui will focus on:

• Building the ALC community from the ground up

• Connecting leaders in shared vision and calling

• Celebrating our Vineyard identity (Be/Know/Do charisms and core values)

• Providing top-tier leadership training and ministry equipping

Following the Hui, we’ll continue to develop peer networks, coaching groups, and further ALC gatherings—plus moments of connection at key national events such as VCANZ Conference 2026.
