Practical Ministry Areas

Each Ministry Student practices their ministry skills for around 15 hours each week in one main area of Ministry. For some students this may look like a major area and a second as a minor area. Students are working towards 210 hours of practical ministry each semester. Students will have a supervisor in their area to help them to engage with their learning in context. The ministry placements will be worked out as part of the application process and role descriptions will begin to be developed that are in line with the opportunities and needs in the Ministry as well as the skills, stage of discipleship and learning goals of the Ministry Student.
